I started Chatbook 30+ volumes ago. I came for the convenience of receiving a physical photo book I don't have to obsessively edit, that was automatically populated by my insta pics. I am increasingly frustrated by the app and the value/ quality of the books. The app was never good. It is always laggy, and I continually have to reconnect insta & facebook. The actual printed books are nice on the outside but the pictures are meh. And really shouldn't the pictures be the priority?!

The overall idea is great if it worked well. Any downloaded photos I take don't sync with the books. The only loop hole I found is uploading the images to my Google photos and then syncing the two apps. It takes a very long time to sync the photos to Chatbooks as well. The text pages glitch if I try to modify at all and has me start over. Etc. Etc. Etc. I probably wouldn't recommend.

Hi, Elena! Thanks so much for sharing this review. I'd love to troubleshoot this more for you as we definitely should be able to add photos that have been saved to your device to your Chatbooks. The chatbooks service and products are great, but this app is a buggy mess, especially when trying to manage the "monthly minis" books: pictures frequently get stuck syncing, recently added photos often don't appear until the app is closed and re-opened, and sharing photos from other apps to chatbooks has never worked (monthly minis books are not an option in that flow).
